Opening night party for Fertile Garden at Moss Gallery and Domestic Violence in the Moss store.
Fertile Garden: designing al fresco featured vintage monumental garden statuary by Josef Wackerle for Nymphenburg Porcelain Manufacktur, Germany
Direct from the gardens of the Nymphenburg summer palace, these giant pieces have survived two world wars and never been offered for sale before.
Amid the Wackerle statues are contemporary outdoor furniture and lighting from Anthologie Quartet, Dilmos Gallery, Venini, Interior Tools and Swarovski.
In the Moss store, the window stage was filled with a battalion of Guns, a project of particular social relevance, created by Philippe Starck for Flos, Italy. There were 70 preproduction prototypes on display, finished in gold leaf and signed by Starck. In addition, Starck’s other new domestically violent collection, La Vie: three table lamps, named Greedy? Anxious? Addict?
